Practical, Not Textbook-y
I enjoyed reading this book. If you're looking for something less ‘text-book’ and more ‘what do you do in your practice’ without compromising on available literature, this book would be it. He also managed to insert some humour to give a book about vasopressors more life.
Comprehensive & Easy to Read
Nice to read something published this decade with lots of evidence-based reviews and recommendations. Super interesting to learn certain pressors have immune-modulating properties. Super easy to read — comprehensive guide to probably the biggest part of our job.
Great Reference
A practical, condensed, & concise guide to vasopressors & inotropes. I like the added history & interesting facts section at the end of each medication. A great place to start for anyone in ED & critical care.
Vasopressin Chapter Was Flames
Really good book with lots of info and little fluff — the vasopressin chapter especially stood out.
Quality, Profound Information
Good information and clinical research that's invaluable. Looking forward to other works the author is involved in — quality and profound information.
Lots of Info, Little Fluff
Really good book with lots of info and little fluff.
A Go-To ICU Reference
A comprehensive, evidence-based guide to probably the biggest part of critical care work — easy to read and one I keep coming back to at the bedside.
